Pen drawing.

The vocabulary first โ€” the app's own terms, then your first piece.

The words the app teaches with

BeadThe line of plastic the pen lays down โ€” its width, about 0.7 mm for a hot pen, sets the lanes on every stencil.
LaneThe band one bead wide just inside each colour's edge โ€” the pen tip runs down its middle, so neighbouring colours butt together.
InfillSupport lines inside a colour: triangle truss, honeycomb or crosshatch โ€” they stiffen the piece and use less plastic than filling it solid.
Tack-down dotA dot where infill lines meet, to hold the piece flat on the mat as it cools.
Anchor pointA small blob at the start of a line, so the line sticks where it begins.
Panel ยท SeamOne flat face of a low-poly model, traced on its own; where two panels meet, both carry the same number along the edge and the pen welds them there.

The first piece

Draw the outline in one pass (lane), fill it with infill, pin it with tack-down dots at the joins, and lift it once it's cool. Panels weld at the seams โ€” the app numbers the edges so you can check them before welding.

The app counts how many strand lengths to cut per colour, so the pen feeds without mid-line splices โ€” the bench prints that page, the app counts it live.
